In 2008 every 71 seconds another person was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
In 2009 that number has been updated to every 70 seconds!
At the rate of 1 second per year.
What is the out look for your grandchildren?

Below is a letter sent it:
This is a great benefit for Alzheimer's disease. My parent's both died with Alzheimer's. It is not a good way to die. You know they’re so many people out there that do NOT understand this disease. Parents are diagnosis with this disease and there’re still left home alone. You try to tell them, they can't be left alone and they don't understand. You can’t make them understand, that they forget to take medicine, to eat, where they are and sadly that your their own child. Yes, I grieved for my parents while they were still alive because I knew that they would not have wanted to be as they were. And yes, as you watch them forget you slowly, you grieve for who they were and how much you wish they could just talk to you again. I know people right now that have family with this disease and they’re checked on daily. But as always they’re people that don’t understand and turn their backs, for them to get lost, hurt and die alone. Y’all have made a friend here. Yes I will support the Ride Purple for Alzheimer's.   Name not publish by request
